The Autopian Podcast Is Now On Apple Podcasts; Listen To Two New Episodes!

Apple Pod Twotop

We published the first The Autopian Podcast episodes last week, but we assume the nice folks at Apple were so enamored with our wit and insight that they were a little slow to post our episodes there (or, possibly, they have a very clearly stated policy of reviewing new podcasts and actually finished ahead of their provided estimates). No longer must you wait to enjoy David, Jason, Beau and guests on your Apple //e because the episodes are now on Apple Podcasts. Listen. Subscribe. Enjoy

You can also find the original episode on YouTube, with more to follow. Here are the links to the Apple Podcast version below:

We’ve got more listening options than Porsche’s got ways to take your money, so there are also episodes on Spotify, Google Podcasts, or you can use the RSS feed and point your favorite Podcast player at it.

Two new episodes should be coming to Apple Podcasts shortly, but in the meantime they’re already on Spotify and other places. Check it out:

The first new episode involves discussion about whale penis leather, crotch vents, and swamp coolers, while the second episode is a great discussion with Mercedes Streeter, Illinois-based owner of far too many vehicles (including a bus, many motorcycles, lots of Smart Cars and Piech-era VWs, and who the hell knows what else).

ENJOY!

The first few have been great, hearing the interactions between you all is awesome.

Have you considered a subscriber segment? Bring on one of the readers to talk about their automotive experiences? First car, current fleet, how they see trends going, a layman’s perspective.

I would volunteer for that. 🙂

For what it’s worth,i find these much more interesting to written content*. I hope you can keep them coming ????

*I WAS going to say ‘except for things like engineering articles’ but now i think about it, maybe those could work well on video at times

Woohoo! Not a fan of Spotify’s UI! (love the way they deliver content so they get my $$s anyway)

I listened to the first set of episodes on the drive home from Ag-Quip last week, and like others I’m not a podcast person but really enjoyed the content.

(My brother and his wife subjected me to Serial on a drive to Sydney for Christmas when that first series came out and I hated it!)

I have a drive out to Canbelego next week, so these two new episodes will be great for the run out there.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes. Now I can get the wit and humor of Torch and David safely on my commute. FYI, the episodes are out of order on Podcast Addict app.

Nice to hear some love the Audi A2, but surprising for these UK ears to hear 2 out of 4 car needs weren’t really familiar with it. I had one a few years ago, picked up for £1000 when they were at the bottom of their depreciation curve, with leather and rare Bose sound system. Absolutely loved it , sold it when I got a company car to a guy who stripped it for parts, regretted it ever since. Best car I’ve ever owned.

That should read content, not contact. Wish there was an edit function!

Ever since Tom and Ray left the NPR air waves, there has been a great void of interesting yet engaging, self deprecating but communal car voices. These are some big shoes, but I think you have got the feet.

I still need to listen to these. But I gotta say, it makes me inordinately happy that the “official podcast car” is a Fiat 128.

Just started listening to these earlier this week as I am not a podcasts person, but I’m glad I started. Looking forward to hearing these on the drive home.

I actually just finished both episodes. Long hauling in a Smart… My god, Mercedes! My body would not be happy at all.
